Walking the docks
One way in finding a crewing job on a yacht is to walk the docks, and to go from one
boat to another and ask the people on board if they need someone to help out (crew).
This is especially useful if you want to do day work. (Be there early in the mornings).
Leave a message
Another way is to ask someone in the marina office if you can leave a message on
there message board with your details. Although certain marinas have now started to
charge you for this, its probably one of the best options if you have time to wait and a
mobile phone or a local address where you can be reached.
Crew placement agencies
If you are looking for a long term employment and have a specialized qualification
for example if you are a chef or engineer, then the simplest way to find a job is probably to go through
a crew placement agency.
Place an advert
For placing an advert you have several options.
